Common questions about our logistics solutions

What's the difference between commercial and personal cargo solutions?
Commercial solutions are designed for businesses importing or exporting goods for resale — including ChAFTA preference, GST handling, customs brokerage and warehousing. Personal cargo solutions are for individuals shipping household goods, personal effects or vehicles, where biosecurity rules apply differently and customs valuation works on purchase or replacement value rather than commercial invoice.
Do you handle full international relocation between China and Australia?
Yes. Our international relocation service is end-to-end: origin packing, export customs in China, ocean or air freight, Australian customs clearance, biosecurity inspection, container unpack and destination delivery. We work with families, individual professionals and returning migrants.
Can I ship personal effects without being GST-registered?
Yes. Individuals can import personal effects without a business or GST registration. Unaccompanied personal effects (UPEs) that have been owned and used for at least 12 months can often be imported duty and GST-free under Item 4 of Schedule 4 to the Customs Tariff Act, subject to declaration and biosecurity rules.
Do you ship motor vehicles, motorcycles or boats from China?
Yes. We arrange RoRo and containerised shipping for personal vehicles, motorcycles and boats. Note: vehicle imports to Australia require a Vehicle Import Approval (VIA) from the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts before shipment. We can guide you through the approval process.
How does the process work from quote to delivery?
Four steps: (1) you send us details of the cargo, origin and destination; (2) we issue a written quote and confirm timeline; (3) you book and pay the agreed amount, we arrange origin pickup and freight; (4) we clear Australian customs, handle biosecurity and deliver to your door. We provide milestone updates throughout.
Do you offer Mandarin-speaking support for the whole journey?
Yes. Our team in Melbourne, Guangzhou and Shanghai speaks both English and Mandarin. Documentation, supplier coordination, customs paperwork and customer communication are all handled bilingually.
